Black Friday marks the beginning of the Christmas holiday season. Retailers kick it off with holiday opening specials offering massive discounts and savings for customers. Consumers are inundated days and weeks before the event in all media outlets with an orchestrated message of lack, limitation and you better not miss out!
Black Friday represents the dark side of consumerism. A populace driven not to be the one to miss out on a bargain gather in the thousands to be the first in line. All is well until the clock gets close to the midnight opening bell when a mass of humanity anticipating the opening begins to push forward even though there is no where to go. Every individual has the same objective and that is to get there first no matter what or who gets in their way.
In over your head is the feeling that most people have had all year round. Stuck. Stuck in the quicksand’s of despair. In jobs we hate and relationships that have become unexciting. Our lives have become predictable and uninteresting. Whatever happened to the dreams and aspirations we once had?

Truths that express itself through the mindless mantra of negative self talk leading us into fear, indecision and chaos. You are trapped in a world of duality drawing a line in the sand defining your deepest beliefs, whether right or wrong, have or have not, left or right, Republican or Democrat, Muslim or Christian, male or female.
Unfortunately for the majority of us we have been trained by the media, education, politicians and parents to to look out for and add to the list prejudices that define who we are as a society and who you and I are as individuals. You develop a point of view that only you can own, EVER! Its all yours you can’t even give it away. People may agree or disagree with you but they decide.
The sacred Maya calendar, measures one thing and one thing only, the evolution of consciousness. Films, documentaries, and doomsday evangelists are misrepresenting and distorting the true meaning of the Maya sacred calendar and are keeping you from the truth. A truth that would have us all ask the important questions.
