The economy is morphing before our eyes. Unemployment appears to be settling in at 10% and no business or corporation is safe anymore. (Unless of course you are a Wall Street Financial Institution, but thats another story.) So what is safe?

Safe is taking control of your life and your financial situation. I know its not easy slaving away for 30 years with your only reward a layoff notice — at age 58 just when you were getting used to the idea of easy street! Oh ya? What about that pension?

So yes the economy has and is going through some pretty tough, but at the same time miraculous change. For many the wake up call came early, others however have still not figured it out. Job security ain’t what it used to be. As a matter of fact many believe that the US Social Security system will be bankrupt by the time the boomers begin to enroll en-mass. So my faith in the system may be crashing but faith in my ability to take care of my cash needs today and have plenty of money for retirement… infinite.

Have Faith!

Everyone has a unique skill or a passion. Your passion is that one thing that really moves you, grabs your attention and gets your creative blood flowing. What are your hobbies? Fishing? Cooking? Meet Todd the Electrician

Meet Todd Milhouse Watts the Master Electrician. Believe me his legendary skills have come in very handy by almost everyone he knows or is related too. As a master electrician he knows his stuff and the people around him can hear, see and experience his passion. I know its shocking (pun intended) to find someone today who is totally ‘plugged into his job’ and goes the extra mile for customers, friends and family but Todd’s the man and has quite the following of people who know, like and trust him.

Like many other tradesman in the construction industry, Todd laments, “Works been a bit slow. Times are a little tougher especially for the guys who got laid off, but for me as a master electrician the chances are pretty slim I would be laid off too… at least I hope so!”

Hope is the key, right?

Its Todd’s ‘…at least I hope so’ that made him realize he had better get his Plan B in place before circumstances force him into it.
