This mention of the New Orleans Saints was added as an asterisk at the end of a sports column I was reading this afternoon. I thought it was somewhat appropriate for two reasons. The first is that I have always liked and cheered on the the New Orleans Saints. Secondly, Janet and I were lucky enough to visit New Orleans one year after Hurricane Katrina. The evidence was all around us, illustrating an unimaginable nightmare of pure destruction. To witness the resilience of these wonderful people, we were honored to attend events to raise money for those families that were still in need.
I love New Orleans! Where many live true abundance.
* When the New Orleans Saints escaped with a win against the Redskins yesterday, it was the second time during the past decade that New Orleans has had to come from behind for a huge victory over Washington.
The first time was after Hurricane Katrina, when the Bush White House did everything except heave New Orleans into the Gulf of Mexico.

Hey Don, Here is a little humor about the Superbowl from Dave Barry. He is a very funny fellow. http://www.davebarry.com
