2012? This is like deja vu all over again. (To paraphrase one of baseballs greatest athletes, Yogi Berra) The Fear Merchants are having a hay day with this one. December 21, 2012 at 11:11 it all ends. Relax! The only thing scary about the Maya Calendar is the fact that it ends. It represents the final steps of creation. The Maya predict there will be change on a global basis, a shift of consciousness, the final cycle of creation, that will finally allow humanity to live in harmony with each other, create new non polluting technologies, and eliminate debt. Creation knows there is enough to go around so that no one goes with out anything including unending opportunity and possibilities for a better life.
Now the Maya also know that there is a lot of pain, confusion and despair that unfortunately tags along with change and chaos. The Maya Calendar accurately predicted their own Empires downfall almost to the date Spaniards and other Europeans arrived in Central America. Well from my point of view, the Maya Calendar simply represents the final stage of creation and if we need to go through a bit of strife to finally get it right and co-create heaven on earth… I am all for it!
