I am not really sure what the motives are for the majority of marketers you tend to run into on a daily basis. Read their copy and you are easily lead to believe they will take you to the promised land. Side note: It took Moses 40 years!
Soon you realize, its going to take you 40 years too! Believe me, it will unless you take action and do something about it today. No one and I mean no one is going to build your business for you. My friends that is not only a fact, but it is also the truth!
So Step One: FACE the FACTS
Only you can create your reality. Only you can create and full fill your dreams. Leaving it up to others to do your work for you never has and never will work. So its a hard pill to swollow, but it’s serius medicine to help you get on with your futures.
Step Two: INTEGRITY and RESPONSIBILITY
Without either of these leadership traits you are doomed to failure. That’s as plain and simple as I can get. Now let me illustrate what I mean with an example. Suppose Bob, is my sponsor (in a great mlm) and he has agreed to help me out. We have set up a time and he has agreed to meet me on the phone. Great!
At the appointed time… nothing. You wait.
Now because you are still really excited about the program you are willing to give Bob the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, you soon discover that Bob really doesn’t answer his phone and of course you leave a message. You wait.
Now you are writing an email voicing your concerns, and again, you wait. You’re getting a little hot under the collar, and you know that if and when Bob ever gets back to you it will take a long time, if ever for you to have trust in Bob again. If Bob does not clean up his act, his irresponsible actions will certainly kill his business.
How would you rate Bob’s integrity and responsibility in dealing with you? Are you going to believe the next Bob that comes along? Or, are you going to do a little research first? Chances are real good not only will you never work with this Bob again, and you will tell your friends about him too!you will do everything in your power to warns others too!
This means staring today approach everything you do with integrity. Do what you say you will do, mean what you say, and start building your business on a solid foundation of trust.
Caution! Trust and Integrity is easily lost through irresponsible actions, or in Bobs case inaction.
Apologies: For some reason I like using Bob to illustrate most of my stories, my disclaimer is that I have absolutely no issues with anyone named Bob and apologize if I hurt any Bobs out there in anyway.
Summary: Take action today, find a mentor who has a history of dealing with people with the highest level of integrity, and trust your future to no one.
