Abundance, Personal Wealth and Success

Go With the Flow

What does that mean exactly? Go with the flow?

For a long time to me it meant that taking what ever life threw my way. For a period of time, I wasn’t really an active participant in deciding my own fate and what I got from the flow was a lot of roadblocks, disappointments and lost opportunities. Eventually, things got so bad from going with the flow, I had become resigned to a life of one disappointment after another.

Seeking success? Are you kidding me? Everything I touched seemed to find its way down the sink hole, …eek. Would I ever find my way out? Why had my life become so predictably disastrous?

It wasn’t always that way for me, and it probably wasn’t for many of you, either. There was a time when I felt I was linked to higher frequencies, the ether as Napoleon Hill described it in his book “Think and Grow Rich.” The interconnectedness, the direct link to enable personal communication of my intentions to creation was very real.

My perspective on life was that if my intention, my goal, was clear and well defined, the flow would provide the necessary resources, people, tools and money to move me continually and precisely to the outcome of my desires. I always got what I wanted!

Life’s flow will throw a lot of stuff at you. After all, you are not the only creative being out there and your perspective is totally different from mine. Your reality, your creation. My reality my creation. They are intertwined to create the whole.

Life threw a big one at me! So big, that it stopped me cold in my tracks for ten years. Nothing, I mean nothing mattered to me anymore and I was angry. I was angry at life and started to take only what it gave me. Personally I felt like life’s biggest loser.

I had to make a choice. I could continue on the path I was on, or, accept responsibility for what I had become, and become an active and creative participant in the flow of life. My life.

I choose life obviously, but the thing that surprised me that most was how easy it was to turn things around.  It really was a simple three (3) step process that you can put to work for you too.

  1. Accept responsibility for where you are today. Every thing in  life to this point you have created. If you are like me, you are willing to take credit for the things that go well in for you in life and blamed life or other people when things go wrong. Am I right?
  2. Accept responsibility for where you are going by becoming a participant in the creative process. Define what it is you are looking for or trying to accomplish by establishing goals and objectives. You will eventually trust the flow of creation.
  3. Accept that the flow, life will deliver by putting you in situations where you will meet or discover the tools and resources that will definitely drive you towards success. you simply need to follow your instincts and recognize when opportunities come about.

So I would caution anyone from going with the flow, unless they are a participant and a creative partner.
